MOSMA is a non-profit organization that seeks to share the joy of stop motion with the broader community through exhibitions, community events, and educational outreach for all ages.

We are a small group of artists who have been working professionally in stop motion for many years. Our sights are set on a brick and mortar museum which is accessible to the public and centrally located in downtown Portland, Oregon. Establishing MOSMA is a labor of love from humble beginnings, and it will not be possible without your support.

Donors allow us to pursue a world-class institution that will honor the artistry and potential of stop motion. MOSMA will create a lasting resource for a global audience and help secure the future of stop motion by fostering the next generation of talent.
